“I have been guiding with the Woodstock Inn & Resort Fly Fishing program since 2016. In recent years, I have been the Lead Fly Fishing guide and Fly Fishing Manager working out of the Fly Shop located on the property of the Woodstock Inn. I have been fishing since I was quite young with vivid memories of trolling for landlocked salmon with tandem flies on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. The most popular flies at that time were the Red & White, Grey Ghost and a Barnes Special, all smelt imitation’s used just after ice-out!
Some of my favorite places to fish are my home river, The White River in Vermont, North Hero on Lake Champlain, Slough Creek in Yellowstone, The Green River in Wyoming, Cape Cod, Wiggins Pass in Naples and Flamingo in the Everglades in Florida. The most rewarding part of the Woodstock Inn & Resort Fly Fishing program is watching first timer fly anglers learn the sport, catch-land-release their first fish.”
