Jon Zukowski from Mountain High Fly Shop and Outfitter Thursday 3/17/22 @7pm

Jon Zukowski owns and operates Mountain High Fly in Lincoln, New Hampshire, a full service fly shop and outfitter. Jon is also a professional fly designer and signature tyer for CATCH Fly-Fishing. He grew up in the North Woodstock, New Hampshire and learned to fly-fish for trout and salmon at the age of five on the Pemigewasset and Connecticut rivers, along with the Kennebec and Moose rivers in Maine. As a teen, Jon went on a fishing trip to Valdez, Alaska with his father and caught many species of both fresh and saltwater fish. The experience was unforgettable, and fishing became forever engrained in him thereafter. While Jon cut his teeth as a trout angler, he now enjoys chasing large predatory fish such as pike, muskellunge, carp, bowfin, gar, trophy trout, and striped bass. He has written several articles on chasing Northern Pike with a fly that have been published by industry brands like Sage and Flymen Fishing Company. Jon also designs and ties flies for his own fly company, On Z Fly LLC. While not working, tying flies, or fishing, Jon enjoys hunting, hiking, writing, playing music, and cooking wild game and foraged foods.
